A Swiss niche perfume house founded in 2020 by Robin Dünner and Nico Mannino, two childhood friends. Nico leads strategy and sales, Robin the brand and creation. The name combines per noi, “for us” in Italian, and noire, the color that recurs on every bottle.

The idea. Pernoire builds its perfumes as olfactory personalities. Each bottle carries what the house calls its alchemical power: Vitias romance, Naki purity, Kama desire, Mansa generosity, Yuma balance, Oudian dominance. Three pillars support the project, all born from the founders' friendship: personality, personal growth and surpassing oneself.

The house. All fourteen compositions are signed by Andreas Wilhelm, a Swiss perfumer and partner since the beginning. Development and production are 100% Swiss, using rare natural essences. No eau de toilette: Pernoire works only in extrait, in 50 ml bottles, with a stated longevity of more than twelve hours.

The two lines. Anima, from the Latin anima, the soul, is concentrated at 25% extrait, eight perfumes at €195. Odus, from the Latin words odor and intensus, rises to 30% with a deliberate overdose of the key essences, six perfumes at €240. The families overlap: each line has its gourmand, its floral and its fresh scent.

Your first bottle. The three best-sellers are Vitias, Naki and Kama, which are also the easiest to wear. Next come Mansa for oud orientals, Tierra for warm, readable scents, and Yuma for fresh ones. Oudian, built on durian, the king of fruits in Asia, is the boldest in the catalog.

In 2023, Mansa was a finalist at the Art and Olfaction Awards, in the top 10 of more than a thousand blind-judged submissions. The house has also created a collection of chocolates with Nobile, designed to extend its perfumes onto the palate.
