The Unleashed Apothecary is an independent French niche perfume house, resolutely free. Founded by self-taught perfumer Jimmy Bodin, it gathers his most personal olfactory creations: hand-crafted fragrances with an apothecary spirit, exploring bold accords and rare materials that evoke the perfumer's workshop.

The origins: from “Exclusive Blend” to The Unleashed Apothecary

The brand's story begins within the house of Jousset Parfums, where Jimmy Bodin is the nose and co-founder. From 2020, Jousset gave him complete creative freedom through the Exclusive Blend label, a genuine artisanal playground conceived for collectors and lovers of singular fragrances.

Two collections were born there: S.I.C.K., with bottles painted and sculpted by hand around intense fragrances, then R.A.W., devoted to the rarest and most limited materials — some ouds produced in only around twenty bottles, each dressed by hand.

Buoyed by the success of the Exclusive Blend R.A.W. collection, Jimmy Bodin chose to free this concept from Jousset Parfums and give it its own identity: The Unleashed Apothecary was born — an unleashed brand, pushing the boundaries of perfumery ever further.

Who is Jimmy Bodin?

Jimmy Bodin is a self-taught French perfumer, known for bold, uncompromising compositions. Nose and co-owner of houses such as Jousset Parfums (Qahua Bunga, Exclusive Blend) and Marble Oud, he combines a modern approach — “sensory design” — with traditional extraction methods such as maceration, letting raw materials slowly release their colours and their scents.

Apothecary craftsmanship

Every creation blends artisanal gesture with authentic materials: juices matured in hand-worked glass bottles, a selection of rare ingredients, and artistic flacons that have become the house signature. The Unleashed Apothecary offers a public collection as well as bespoke perfumes, created on request.
