The Seal of Death

Oud Post-Mortem is the morgue made beautiful. This extreme niche perfume opens on a crack of black pepper over damp earth and torn mushrooms: the forest floor where something has gone back to the ground. At its heart, black truffle and smoke: savoury, fungal, almost obscene. Beneath, Oud Hindi Kalakassi unfolds its full animalic force, sealed under cold ash. The seal of death, worn as perfume.

The olfactory journey

Opening: earth and pepper

The opening is telluric: black pepper, wild mushroom and damp earth compose an undergrowth landscape after the rain, raw and organic.

Heart: truffle and smoke

The heart reveals a fleshy black truffle, almost edible, wrapped in a dry smoke. A savoury, fungal note on the edge of the obscene.

Base: oud and ash

The base belongs to Oud Hindi Kalakassi, animalic and deep, sealed under cold ash. A soil tincture extends this mineral, funereal trail for many hours.
