The strength of freedom

A summer grassland: the breeze drifts through orchards of flowering pomelo trees. Dewdrops on the tips of the grass reflect the blue of the sky, and the scent of fruit mingles with that of green grass, unrolled like silk. The name

焉耆甸夏 is read yān qí diàn xià: 焉耆 (yān qí), Yanqi, an oasis in Xinjiang on the ancient Silk Road; 甸 (diàn), the grassland; 夏 (xià), summer. In English: “Summer on the Yanqi grasslands”.

Corsican pomelo and bitter orange burst open, heightened by wild calamus, a green, aromatic root.

Pomelo blossom blends with houttuynia, a green, peppery plant, and with the grassland accord: grass stretching as far as the eye can see.
