About this creation
Snow on the nineteen peaks of Cangshan.
苍山见雪 (cangshan jian xue): the nineteen peaks of Mount Cangshan, in Dali, Yunnan, capped with snow above Erhai Lake. Galbanum and blackcurrant sketch an icy green, a floral heart of jasmine and rose warms up within it, then a woody base of cedar and vetiver closes the landscape. A high-altitude scent, green, mineral and crystalline.
Top (0-30 min): Galbanum, Blackcurrant, Bergamot, Geranium, Apple. An icy, sharp green of galbanum and blackcurrant.
Heart (30 min-3 h): Jasmine, Orange blossom, Rose, Basil. A green floral heart, warmed by the high-altitude sun.
Base (3-8 h): Cedarwood, Vetiver, Patchouli, Musk. A dry woody base that closes the landscape.

ChuJian (初柬) is a Chinese niche perfume house that reinterprets the landscapes, gardens and rituals of China through Extraits de Parfum signed by international noses.
Composed by Anne Flipo
Anne Flipo is a French perfumer who grew up in Picardy. After her baccalauréat, she entered ISIPCA to train in food flavors. During her apprenticeship, she discovered the essential oils used in perfumery and changed course. She learned the craft alongside Michel Almairac and Jean-Louis Sieuzac, then joined IFF in 2004.
IFF named her master perfumer in 2019, and she received the Prix d'Honneur François Coty in 2022. She signed La Vie est Belle for Lancôme, with Olivier Polge and Dominique Ropion, as well as La Chasse aux Papillons for L'Artisan Parfumeur and Synthetic Jungle for Éditions de Parfums Frédéric Malle. She writes her formulas by hand and has a particular fondness for orange blossom.
