An iris in watercolor, in the mist of Jiangnan.

Jiangnan — 江南, that land of water south of the Yangzi Jiang — its canals and its milky mist. Here ChuJian paints an iris in watercolor: aldehydes and green notes open onto a pure, powdery iris, set over a silky musk. Minimalist, refined, with an almost abstract elegance.

Top (0–30 min) — Aldehydes, Green Notes: an aldehydic veil, cottony and green.
Heart (30 min–3 h) — Iris: iris alone, pure, powdery, cold root.
Base (3–8 h) — Musk: a silky musk that extends the transparency.
