About this creation
The clear sandalwood of a snowy summit.
长白 (Changbai) is the sacred, snow-capped peak of China's far northeast; 清檀 (qingtan), “clear sandalwood”, names its signature. A luminous, powdery sandalwood, brushed with citron, pink pepper and lime, softened by tea and fig. Pared-back, airy, with a mineral clarity.
Top (0-30 min): Citron, Pink pepper, Lime. A zesty freshness, lively and sparkling.
Heart (30 min-3 h): Tea, Fig. A discreet heart of tea and fig.
Base (3-8 h): Sandalwood, White musk, Papyrus, Powdery woods. A powdery sandalwood, clear and mineral.

Composed by Maxime Exler
Maxime Exler is a French perfumer with the fragrance house Mane, for which he is based in Shanghai. In March 2024, he was among the perfumers present at the opening of Mane's first fine fragrance creative center in China, in the Huangpu district. He works mainly for niche brands, in China and abroad.
He has composed for Chinese houses such as Documents and To Summer, as well as for niche brands from other countries. His formulas appear at Born To Stand Out, Omanluxury, Ajmal and Tobba, among others.
