About this creation
Velvet rose and ambergris: the nobility of a treasure from the sea.
Ambergris, 龙涎 (longxian), “dragon's saliva” in Chinese tradition, was among the rarest treasures brought back by the sea. ChuJian pairs it with rose for an accord of great nobility: a velvety rose heart, warmed by the ambery minerality of ambroxan and wrapped in powdery musks. Sensual, deep, addictive.
Top (0-30 min): Rose, Pink pepper. The fresh radiance of a vivid rose, awakened by a peppery touch.
Heart (30 min-3 h): Rose, Cedarwood. The rose deepens, velvety, set against dry cedar.
Base (3-8 h): Ambroxan, White musk, Cashmere wood, Powdery woody notes, Amber. An ambery, mineral, powdery warmth that clings to the skin.

Composed by Maxime Exler
Maxime Exler is a French perfumer with the fragrance house Mane, for which he is based in Shanghai. In March 2024, he was among the perfumers present at the opening of Mane's first fine fragrance creative center in China, in the Huangpu district. He works mainly for niche brands, in China and abroad.
He has composed for Chinese houses such as Documents and To Summer, as well as for niche brands from other countries. His formulas appear at Born To Stand Out, Omanluxury, Ajmal and Tobba, among others.
