Velvet rose and ambergris — the nobility of a treasure brought from the sea.

Ambergris — 龙涎 (longxian), “dragon’s saliva” in Chinese tradition — was among the rarest treasures brought back from the sea. ChuJian pairs it with rose for an accord of high nobility: a velvety rose heart, warmed by the ambery minerality of Ambroxan and wrapped in powdery musks. Sensual, deep, addictive.

Top (0–30 min) — Rose, Pink Pepper: the fresh brightness of a vivid rose, awakened by a peppery touch.
Heart (30 min–3 h) — Rose, Cedarwood: the rose thickens, velvety, set against a dry cedar.
Base (3–8 h) — Ambroxan, White Musk, Cashmere Wood, Powdery Woody Notes, Amber: an ambery warmth, mineral and powdery, that clings to the skin.
