Adi ale Van
Adi ale Van is a house of olfactory art founded in 2021 in Romania by the artist of the same name. Everything is handmade, in limited editions: the bottle, the stopper, the decoration and the box are painted and assembled one by one, so that no piece can ever be reproduced identically. The extraits range from 22% to 40% concentration and macerate for 4 to 30 months before bottling. The compositions are signed by Jimmy Bodin, Giovanni Festa, Anne-Sophie Behaghel, Antonio Alessandria, Camille Chemardin, Michele Marin, Flavius Calaj and David-Lev Jipa-Slivinschi. The inspiration comes from Romanian rural traditions, family memory and a folklore the house helps to preserve.

Naming silence
Here Antonio Alessandria signs the most architectural composition in the catalog: a luminous white floral set on a tarry, leathery base. Contrast is the very idea of the fragrance: putting neat labels on emotions that want none.
The olfactory journey
Opening: fruit and tar
Passion fruit, blackcurrant and plum open juicy and tangy; juniper tar arrives almost at once, black and smoky, and cuts the sweetness clean.
Heart: the white flowers
Lily of the valley, magnolia and jasmine unfold a clear, vibrant heart, tightened by saffron, which adds its leathery touch.
Base: leather and resin
Cedar, frankincense, labdanum and leather build a dry, solemn base; ambergris and musks soften the drydown without ever weighing it down.
