The house
Adi ale Van
Adi ale Van is a house of olfactory art founded in 2021 in Romania by the artist of the same name. Everything is handmade, in limited editions: the bottle, the stopper, the decoration and the box are painted and assembled one by one, so that no piece can ever be reproduced identically. The extraits range from 22% to 40% concentration and macerate for 4 to 30 months before bottling. The compositions are signed by Jimmy Bodin, Giovanni Festa, Anne-Sophie Behaghel, Antonio Alessandria, Camille Chemardin, Michele Marin, Flavius Calaj and David-Lev Jipa-Slivinschi. The inspiration comes from Romanian rural traditions, family memory and a folklore the house helps to preserve.

The Romanian plateau
“Plai” means a plateau, the gentle slope of a mountain. The fragrance keeps its generosity: juicy fruit from start to finish, with no detour and no twist. It is the sunniest and most instantly pleasing composition in the catalog.
The olfactory journey
Opening: juicy citrus
Mandarin, blackberry and yuzu burst open, tangy and pulpy, with that green sharpness of yuzu that keeps it from turning syrupy.
Heart: the flesh of the fruit
Guava, pomelo and peach thicken the heart; it is fleshy, tropical, almost velvety.
Base: dulce de leche
Dulce de leche and sugar close on a milky, caramelized base that extends the fruit without crushing it.
