Where an eau de parfum generally contains 15 to 20% aromatic concentrate, the extraits on this page range from 20 to over 40%: Aaron Terence Hughes works at 35%, Spiritica between 35 and 41%, Adi ale Van up to 40%, Zhufu at 25%. Why choose an extrait de parfum?

More raw materials, less alcohol: an extrait lasts longer on the skin, evolves more slowly and sits closer to the body. One or two sprays are enough for the day. It is also the favourite format of niche houses, who use it to express their rarest materials: rose absolutes, Madagascar vanilla, Thai or Laotian oud, ambergris.
