10/6 is the ten shillings and sixpence written on the ticket tucked into the Mad Hatter's hat band. A Victorian price that became one of the most recognisable details in English literature, and the starting point for a fragrance built on eccentricity it fully owns.

Aaron Terence Hughes turns it into an olfactory descent down the rabbit hole: the sugar, the disorder and the gentle madness of a tea party that never ends. A patisserie gourmand, joyful and a little unreasonable, with no interest in smelling like anything else.

Opening

The opening is bright and lively. Vanilla and almond take the light straight away, carried by a magic mushrooms facet that shifts the mood and keeps the sugar from settling into anything ordinary.

Heart

The heart lays out the tea table: Victoria sponge, macaroons, crème pâtissière and white chocolate, with amber as the pivot and marzipan holding it all together. The result stays clean and readable, never cloying, with the irresistible sweetness that signs the house.

Base and sillage

The base rests on beautiful mystic woods, which give depth and staying power to the pastry. An extrait at 35% concentration, sweet and impossible to miss, with a velvety, generous quality that makes it impossible to ignore.
