Kanchaveli is an artisanal perfume atelier founded by Bidzina Kanchaveli, a Georgian-born artist, former award-winning filmmaker and aroma researcher. His philosophy: perfume is not an ornament but a tool that acts directly on perception, memory and inner states. Inspired by drama, art and psychology, Kanchaveli translates abstract concepts (colors, emotions, historical eras) into olfactory compositions. The second creation from the house of Kanchaveli (2025), Yellow translates the color yellow, a symbol of spontaneity, creativity and energy, into perfume. The opening pairs an immediate fine leather with a vibrant lemony note. A sparkling cinnamon brings woody, balsamic warmth. An extroverted, sunny perfume that shakes things up without ever being aggressive.

Composed by Bidzina Kanchaveli
Bidzina Kanchaveli is a Georgian artist based in Berlin, where he has his studio. He studied film criticism and directing in Tbilisi. He first wrote and staged four plays, then directed short films, including 7 ½ Women, shot for the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, and a feature film, 1000 Kings.
He came to perfume through flavors, first developing flavored liquids, with up to a year of work per product. He says he does not work like a classical perfumer. For his series on emotions, he composed each perfume from the state he wanted to convey. His bottles, first in concrete and then in porcelain, are handmade in his studio.
