Composed by Bidzina Kanchaveli
Bidzina Kanchaveli is a Georgian artist based in Berlin, where he has his studio. He studied film criticism and directing in Tbilisi. He first wrote and staged four plays, then directed short films, including 7 ½ Women, shot for the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, and a feature film, 1000 Kings.
He came to perfume through flavors, first developing flavored liquids, with up to a year of work per product. He says he does not work like a classical perfumer. For his series on emotions, he composed each perfume from the state he wanted to convey. His bottles, first in concrete and then in porcelain, are handmade in his studio.

All of Kanchaveli’s perfumes are artistic and conceptual works of art. The Emotion series also struck a chord with me the moment I laid eyes on it. This is exactly what it means to have one’s emotions stirred.
