Oborotsuki (朦月) is a 100% natural perfume by Tada Parfumeur. Green, woody and earthy, it opens on a dark accord of Thai oud and camphor, reveals a herbaceous heart of jatamansi and vetiver, and ends on a base of oakmoss and Australian sandalwood.

Tada Archawong

Tada Archawong is a self-taught Thai perfumer. He first worked as a director of photography. He launched his first brand, Natural Teller, after a year and a half of learning on his own. Today he runs two houses for which he signs the formulas, Tada Parfumeur and Shaman Perfumery. Along with his friend Prin Lomros, he is one of Thailand's first independent perfumers.

He composes from images. On his travels, often to Japan, he notes his ideas in a notebook, then looks for the materials that can render the scene he has in mind. He devoted a series of perfumes to Dante's Divine Comedy, built around Thai ouds. He has also worked with the sake house Emishiki on a sake accord.

Prin Lomros

Prin Lomros is a Thai perfumer. No university in his country offered a perfumery program, so he first studied film, up to a master's degree. A stay in Grasse, during the Cannes Film Festival, led him to take short perfumery courses. Back in Thailand, he worked at The Perfumer's World, a fragrance company in Bangkok, before founding his own brands.

He created several houses, including Strangers Parfumerie and Prissana, then brought his creations together under the name PRIN in 2020. He received an Art and Olfaction Award in 2017, then another in 2018. He also composes for other brands, including Zoologist and Azman. His method comes from film: he first imagines a scene in motion, then translates each element into notes.
