Composed by Jordi Fernández

Jordi Fernández was born in Catalonia. He learned the craft on his own, without attending a perfumery school, and started out at Eurofragance in Barcelona. He joined Givaudan in 2010, where he is now a senior perfumer. He spends two weeks a month in his Barcelona lab and the rest of the time in his Dubai office.

He has composed for brands including Montblanc and Carolina Herrera. His taste for Middle Eastern perfumery has earned him the nickname “master of oud”, a material he often pairs with rose or vanilla. He works as a team with evaluators and marketing, and says his job above all requires patience and perseverance.
