The house

House of Atropa

About this creation

Honey, I Bought a House!

Milky green woody: a 2025 creation

by House of Atropa

Design bottle: on request. The design bottle is cut and shaped by hand, made to order in very small runs. It is not sold directly: leave us your details and we will write to you as soon as one becomes available. Allow around 7 business days for the house to make it.

Fragrance Notes

  • Top · Green grass, ozone, Isabella grape
  • Heart · Milk, rice, coconut milk
  • Base · Oud, cabreuva, blue spruce

The garden, the milk, the timber frame

The title says it all: the slightly absurd euphoria of the day you buy a house. Freshly cut grass in the garden, the air after rain, Isabella grapes on the trellis. Then the interior: milk, rice, coconut, an almost childlike domestic softness. And beneath it all, the frame: oud, cabreuva and blue spruce, the fresh timber of the structure.

The olfactory journey

Opening: the garden after the shower

Green grass and ozone bring that freshness of the wet outdoors; Isabella grape, musky and foxy, adds its highly recognizable fruity note.

Heart: the kitchen

Milk, rice and coconut milk compose a milky, cereal heart, creamy without being sweet: the softness of home rather than a pastry-shop treat.

Base: the new wood

Oud, cabreuva and blue spruce anchor the whole in a dry, resinous wood that keeps the milky accord from sagging.

About the bottle

House of Atropa makes each piece by hand: the color of the cap and of the box may vary from one bottle to the next. The photo shows the current version.

The design bottle is a separate piece, cut from glass and shaped by hand: each one is unique, which explains the lead time. The juice is identical to the standard format: only the vessel changes.

Who is it for?

For those who love milky scents without sugar and greens that do not sting. A comfort fragrance, more gentle than showy, worn all year round.

Composed by Elisabeth Andrék

Elisabeth Andrék, who also signs as Lisa Andrék, is a perfumer and glass bottle maker of Georgian and Armenian descent. She founded House of Atropa in 2021, after failing to find perfumes with the strangeness she was looking for. She cuts her bottles herself from solid optical glass and from uranium glass produced by a Czech manufacturer. She cites René Lalique among her references.

She is interested in Asian plants and looks for unusual natural materials. She works with certified producers of absolutes and essential oils based in Asia. The pieces in her Special Design collection are all made with her own hands.
